We are calling it the DeOccupy CCC Forum because we are emphasizing the fact that this land is already under occupation by the bodies of government and institutions which do not represent our interests: the interests of the 99%. In this sense the Occupy movement is really about deoccupation.
This teach-in is being organized by the La Raza Student Union of CCC. Food and refreshments will be provided.
We would greatly appreciate if you can attend, to teach those who are ignorant and to express solidarity with your brothers and sisters in the struggle.
