On Friday, February 24th the jury in Debray Carpenters' (Fly Benzo) trial found guilty on 3 misdemeanors - NO Felonies, but no charges dropped.  Sentencing is April 20, 2012 at 9 a.m. in Department 27 at 850 Bryant, San Francisco. This is an outrage and an injustice!  Fly Benzo was tried and convicted for copwatching.  We have a right to observe the police without being arrested and brutalized by SFPD or any other police department.  Know Justice - Know Peace.

The police shot at him and shot him in his back. 2012-02-24 "Number of Children Living Amid Poverty Has Surged This Decade: Study" from "Common Dreams" [unitedstatesfascism.blogspot.com/2012/02/2012-02-24-number-of-children-living.html] Based on data from the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey (ACS), the KIDS COUNT Data Snapshot  shows that about 7.9 million children (roughly 11% of the population) are growing up in areas where at least "30% of residents live below the federal poverty level—about $22,000 per year for a family of four." Those numbers are up from 2000, when data showed 6.3 million kids (9% of the poulation) were living in economically depressed communities, which "often lack access to resources that are critical to healthy growth and development, including quality education, medical care and safe outdoor spaces."
